The Bank founded and established in the year 1985 vides the License No UBD/MH/439 issued by the Reserve Bank Of India on dated 08/10/1985. The Bank has registered with the State Co-operative Department having Registration No. YML/PSD/ BNK/0/143 dated 2/05/1985.
“The Pusad Urban Bank” was start working at pusad in Yavatmal district. The Chief Promoters of the Bank Late shri Shriram Appaji Asegaonkar was taken the enormous effort to establish the bank. Shree Babuseth Hirani was founder Chairman of the bank. These people having great vision with insightful social background.
Shri Adv. Appraoraoji Sambhaji Maind an initiator Director of the Bank was taken up the guard of Chairmanship in 1988. It was the year of Banking and financial reforms. Apparaoji Maind was the influential person to lead the bank effectively in whole Yavatmal district. Under his Chairmanship the Network of the Branches spread with 15 Branches including Head Office.
In 2002 the youthful and dynamic personality Mr. Sharad Apparaoji Maind taken responsibility of chairmanship and the bank is marching ahead to achieve the all sets futures goals and task. Under the present leadership the R.B.I has allotted whole Maharashtra its bank area of operation. At present 38 including Branches located in 15 Districts of State of Maharashtra. Bank started the ATM and ATM Rupay Debit Card Facility and Core Banking Service, SMS Banking, Cash Deposit Machine, and MSEB Bill Counter. .
The Maharashtra Urban Co-op. Banks Federation Ltd., Mumbai Awarded by 1st Prize to the bank for the Financial year 2013-2014 in the slab of Rs. 600 Cr to 1000 Cr Deposits of the bank.
The Maharashtra State Co-operative Banks Association Ltd., Mumbai “Kai Padmabhushan Vasantdata Patil” Best Urban Co-operative bank has Awarded first prize in Vidarbha 2013-2014 above 100 Cr Deposits of the bank awarded by Hon’ble Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. This award bank hold successive three year 1995-96, 1996-97, 1997-98 awarded.
It is great pride in the history of the bank that the bank has received 15 awards from the different association and organizations. The Bank has recently received the prestigious I.S.O. 9001-2008 Certificate. The Banks Head Office is situated in Banks own building at Pusad. To serve the common people the bank has started the other services like E-stamps Tax and TDS payment facility, AADHAR Linkage Bank A/c, RTGS/NEFT, Franking, and MSEB bill counter etc.
