Fixed Account
Fixed Accounts
The Fixed deposit account can be opened by the any category of depositor with the Minimum deposit of Rs. 500/-. The Monthly Recurring Deposit can be opened by depositing minimum Rs. 50/-
The Fixed Deposit can be accepted for the maximum period of 10 years.
In case of special deposit the period of maturity can be extended for the further period as per the R.B.I. Directives.
Interest at the maturity :
Normally the interest on the fixed deposit can be paid at the due date along with the principal amount. In case of monthly deposit scheme the interest may be paid on monthly basis.
Premature Payment:
In case of payment before the date of maturity 1% is deducted from the applicable rate of interest for the actual period for which deposit is kept with the bank.
The loan facility is available on fixed deposit in case of needs of the depositors.
Documents Required
If the Depositor is maintain the saving account or the Current account in such case no additional documents is required to submit for the fixed deposit account.
The fixed deposit account can be open in individual name or joint name.
Individuals
1. Legal Name
- Any one of following documents
Pass-Port issued by Government Department, PAN or GIR card, Election card, Driving License, Identity Card, Letter from a recognized public authority, public servant verifying the identity and residence of the customer to the satisfaction of the Bank.
2. Address Proof
- Any one of following documents
Telephone Bill or Letter from recognized public authority or Electric Bill Or Letter from Employer, or Letter from two neighbors who are known to the Bank
3. Passport size photographs
- Passport size photograph of the customer operating the account
4. Customer I.D.
- ANY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS
Pass-Port size recent photograph, If in service the name of the employer with Address & Phone No, If business-man, Type of business Unit & Telephone No, Copies ITR Documents, Source of Annual Income, If Banking with other Bank details of Bank and Account.
5. Introduction
- Introducer should certify that customer is well known to him personally and he recommends his name to open his account. The Introducer should subscribe his signature, account No, & phone No. on the account opening form
6. Authorization to open the account
- Prior to opening the account of the customer, Staff should verify that the Branch-In-Charge has accorded his approval on the account opening form under his signature, date and Office-seal
7. Risk category
- To be identified by the Branch-In-Charge
Government Body
1. Name of Office
- Copy of Government Gazette/Letter from Government
2. Address
- Letter from the Competent Authority giving the Postal address and Telephone No FAX No
3. Authority, purpose & Type of account to be opened
- Letter from the Competent Authority.
4. Names of Authorized Officials to operate the account
- Letter from the Competent Authority stating name(s) of Official authorized to operate the account with ceiling on withdrawal for amount/ month/ quarter/ year
5. Specimen Signatures of Officials operating the account
- Letter from Government Department furnishing Specimen Signatures of the official(s) with their designation operating the account duly verified and countersigned by the Competent Authority
6. Authorization to open the Account
- Prior to opening the account of the customer, Staff should verify that the Branch-In-Charge has accorded his approval on the account opening form under his signature, date and Office-seal
7. Risk Category

Statutory Body
1. Legal Name

- Copy of Government Gazette or Letter from the Statutory Body giving address & phone/fax no
3. Authority, purpose & Type of account
- to be opened Letter from the competent authority/ Head of the Department of the office authorizing the officer to open the account with the Bank with purpose and type of account to be maintained.
4. Operational instructions
- Name and Designation of the official authorized to operate the account with their specimen signatures duly verified, attested and countersigned with ceiling on operations in amount and/or month/quarter/ year
5. Authorization to open the Account
- Prior to opening the account of the customer, Staff should verify that the Branch-In-Charge has accorded his approval on the account opening form under his signature, date and Office-seal

Minors
1. Name of Minor
- School Leaving Certificate
- Birth Certificate from Registering authority of the City/Town
2. Age Proof of Minor
- Birth Certificate from Registering authority of the City/Town Or School Leaving Certificate
3. Particulars of Guardian
- Particulars of Guardian viz. Legal Name, Address Proof, Passport size photograph, Purpose of opening the A/c, Customer I.D, Introduction, as stated against Individuals should be called for and kept on record.
4. Authorization to open the account
- Prior to opening the account of the customer, Staff should verify that the Branch-In-Charge has accorded his approval on the account opening form under his signature, date and Office-seal

Pardanasheen Women

- Resolution of the Board of Directors to open an account with purpose and Type of account to be opened with the Bank.
3. Principle Place of Business
- From the Certificate of Registration/ MOA/ AOA.
4. Address I.D.
- Telephone Bill/ Electric Bill of company, Telephone/FAX no, or from MOA/AOA.
5. Operational Instructions
- Board Resolution/Power of attorney in Name and Designation of the official authorized to operate the account with their specimen signatures duly verified, attested and countersigned with ceiling on operations in amount and/or month/ quarter/ year.
6. Introduction
- Introducer should certify that the affairs of the company are satisfactory and he recommends Company’s name to open the account. The Introducer should subscribe his signature with account & phone number in the account opening form.
7. Income Tax Particulars
- PAN /GIR No ITR Returns.
8. Details of Directors
- Letter to be obtained from the company in respect of present board of directors, designations & addresses/ Phone/ Fax Numbers
9. Type of Business
- MOA/AOA or Financial Statements of the Company.
10. Details of other accounts if banking with other bank
- The Company should declare if they are holding account in other bank with details of bank and Type of account. Details of Account held in any of the branch of our Bank.
11.Business Status
- Report from Introducer/Banker if already banking with other Bank/Reputed Firms/Companies or from the Audit Report of the current Year.
12. Financial Data
- Financial Statements with latest Audit Report.
13. Authorization to open A/c
- Prior to opening the account of the customer, Staff should verify that the Branch-In-Charge has accorded his approval on the account opening form under his signature, date and Office-seal.
14. Risk Category
- To be identified by the Branch-In-Charge.
Partnership Firms
1. Legal Name
- Business License Certificate OR Registration Certificate OR Partnership Deed OR Letter of Partnership.
2. Address Proof
- Telephone Bill/ Electric Bill of the firm with Telephone/FAX no,
3. Partnership Type
- Partnership Deed/Letter of Partnership.
4. Authority, purpose & Type of account to be opened
- Resolution of the Board of Directors Or Letter signed by all partners to open an account with purpose and Type of account to be opened with the Bank
5. Operational Instructions
- Board Resolution/Power of Attorney/Letter of authority signed by all partners assigning any partner or an employee of the firm to transact business on its behalf. The name, designation in the firm should be stated in the document duly attesting the signature of such official with ceiling on operations in amount and/or month/ quarter/ year, if any. Any officially valid document identifying the partners and their addresses and the persons holding the Power of Attorney.

Trusts and Foundations.

- Certificate of Registration/Bye-Laws of Trust/Trust-Deed.

- Resolution of the Managing Body/Board of Trustees giving details of type of account and purpose to open the account with Bank.
3. Operational Instructions
- Power of Attorney to operate the account on behalf of the Trust / Foundation with specimen signatures of officials duly attested and countersigned with ceiling specifications.
4. Details of Trustees/ founders/ beneficiaries
- Trust Deed/Letter from the President/Chairperson giving the details of Trustees/founders/beneficiaries.
5. Address Proof & Telephone numbers
- MSEB Bill/ Telephone Bill.
6. Business/ Purpose of Trust
- Trust Deed.
7. Names Addresses of all Trustees with Telephone No
- Letter of Trust signed by the Chairman/President.
8. Introduction

Co-operative Institutions

- Letter from the Institution authorizing the officer to open the account with the Bank with purpose and type of account to be maintained.
4. Operational Instructions
- Letter from Institution giving Name, Designation of the officials authorized to operate the account with their specimen signatures duly verified, attested and with ceiling on operations in amount and/or month/ quarter/ year.
5. Bye Laws of the Society
- An up to date copy of Bye Laws of the society should be obtained and kept on record.
